Hello again,
Rare Bird the Australian
Visionarry is now moored on the Macleay River, NSW while John (owner) is dealing
with a major health issue. We wish him all the very best. Luke Timmerman has
kindly made available a video taken while sailing on Rare Bird out of
Coffs Harbour. The video gives an onboard perspective
The word is spreading - Harryproa
Pty Ltd has begun making carbon masts for non-harry people as well. A
Ballestron rig for an 11m Simpson catamaran, and currently 63 aerial/masts
bound for the US and Canada.
A wing sail on Visionarry - John
Taylor says YES! John bought plan number 13 and may it bring him good luck.
Trevor Taylor has provided us with CAD images and panoramas of his fathers
proposed Visionarry rigged with an innovative wing sail.
What has happened to the Australian
Harry? It is now outside the shed in Urunga waiting for Bain to finish building
those carbon masts (see above). Harry will be assembled, launched and rigged in
the foreseeable future.
Thats all for now.
Cheers,
Michele
