Radical Bays masts are raked aft as the accommodation did not allow the masts to be further aft.  The only reason for adding sail in front of the mast on Sidecar is to reduce the sheet loads.  As these are already low, why bother?  The sail will need a recut of the luff round.  Agree about the jib.

G'Day Rob,

I'm looking at getting a curved forward edge of the sail by making a
curved mast it must be similar to the pics of Radical Bay. However to
get around what I think is a problem of a more balanced sails, sheets
and less weather helm you do what doesn't seem to have been done on
the Radical Bay by bending the mast forwardso that you get some sail
area forward of the mast.
It is a question of can you make the sail to fit, so that you can
raise and lower and put reefs in?

No one really want's a jib, if a main alone will do.
