Transpac ww hull is 8mm thick.  There is a backing and a barrier on both sides of the honeycomb.  All three are very well bonded.    Vac bagging is unnecessary, unlike with foam, and core/laminate bond is extremely good.  It is also about half the price of foam for same weight.  see

thinkness of polycore are you useing? Does it have a backing or
