G'day,
Transpac ww hull is 8mm thick.  There is a backing and a barrier on both sides of the honeycomb.  All three are very well bonded.    Vac bagging is unnecessary, unlike with foam, and core/laminate bond is extremely good.  It is also about half the price of foam for same weight.  see http://www.polycore-australia.com.au/

Seen the work done on the pod for your transpac boat. Nice work . What
thinkness of polycore are you useing? Does it have a backing or
barrier on each of the honeycome? Or are they already glassed? What
thickness do you recommand?
