On the subject of leech twist and main setting generally, Rare Bird's boom only has a single line for downhaul and outhaul. This is a bit frustrating when trying to get shape into the main. A cunningham would help too as would a strop around the mast to keep the tack in tight. She was made for a client who wanted simplicity and she certainly offers that. She is a very easy boat to sail.

While enjoying the video I could not help but notice the way the mast bent and made the leech twist off. Seems like the boat would be significantly faster with a stiffer mast, but as it's a cruiser I suppose it's fast 'nough
