Rob,
Saw your design for the 90'x90' contender in Sailing Anarchy. Makes
sense. The only thing I could think of differently was more of a
platform at the intersection of the crossbeam and longitudinal beam.

I have thought of optimising prismatic coefficient by having a
dumbell shape with pointy ends for shorter boats than your 90' but for
shorter lengths it didn't seem to make sense for mid range speeds. A
flexible hull that lifted in the middle at low speeds to minimise
wetted area, flattened out as the load increased to lengthen the hull,
and then flatten the bow ends to start planing as the load increased
further, was needed for it to work.
Cheers,
Robert
