I don't think 2731 is the same rig. It is more like a variant of the
Bolger/Ayers rig. The Hoyt does not need to be rotated to the off
side since whether on a port or starboard tack the sail remain on the
same side of the spar for which it was designed.
I don't really see an easy way to implement this on a proa. If the
proa needs a Ballastron boom it won't be easy to ofset that or to
make that boom ballanced given the different geometry here. I guess
we may have to wait for a Denny catamaran.
