I think you will find, when you have done the introductory course on infusion methods,
that you do NOT have to hold the vacuum for 24 hours, but only long enough to allow
the resin to infuse into the panel material.    This usually takes about 20 minutes with vinylester
and may be a bit longer for low viscosity epoxy.   

Once the whole panel is infused and the resin begins to creep into the suction pipe it is time to
turn off the taps and stop the vacuum pump.   The twenty four hours is then allowed to let the
resin cure, usually under a blanket.
