yeah that's right one side is glasseed and hopfully it should still bend alright when I try to do that...slowly.
The mid (bilge that takes the bottom curve is foam, with sides polycore. This is in case of polycore kinking).

Hello Doug,

It sounds like you are bending with only one side of core glassed, not quit what I was thinking of.  Hope you can get some pictures posted soon, would make it easier to comprehend what you are doing.  What are you using for core ?

George

its like the kss but withouot any cuts to get the sheets to bend around.
same flat sheet folded up to make the hull then the deck flat bits go ont the top.
sheets are brought together at the ends witha cut along the bottom from the bow back a little way.
sorry no pictures - camera lasts only 3 photos per charge of batterries!

Hello Rob,Doug and gang.

What is "Rob's way of doing Harriette" ?

I have just completed ( 4' x 22' ) resin infusion table and will be making panels for replacement float hulls for TT720 and test building methods of future Harryproa.

I am thinking that using preglassed panels for majority of hull would be a good quick way to build Harryproa. You could use panels for most of side of hull, deck and flat bottom. then add beveled panel or large  (6" to 12") radius strip foam joints to hull deck and bottom.  What do you think?

What is the current thinking for the best mothod of building Harryproa using fiberglass and foam core ?

Happy sailing,

Hi All,

Really enjoying Rob's way of doing Harriette - so far really easy and quick.
Still behind him but trying to catch up.
