G'day,
You ain't kidding about the earful! Fortunately we have found a yacht
club that hires dinghies for 10 bucks/half day so we have been sailing
weekends. First race last weekend, won by miles, despite having to
keep going back to find out where the next mark was. Katy loved it,
especially when we got a great surf on a big stink boat wake.
Very little progress, mainly due to pressure of work. Bulkheads are
in, deck is ready to go on the hulls when the mast tube goes in.
Rudders need some bog and sanding, beams are carboned, need glassing
inside and joining. Couple of weeks more, same as it always was.
Many thanks to you, Heinrich and anyone else who has voted or
participated in the Sailing Anarchy thread or poll. Once they put
costs next to the choice of boats, it will get a lot more interesting.
