lw hull shape is considerably lower, if you go with the single beam. I will tart the picture up and post it in Files if you want to use it. Main advantage is ease of building and ease of folding, but it will also be easier to walk on, no spray from the beams, no tramp to tighten (loose safety nets either side) less windage and the weight is more central.

Thanks to those who sent me emails with offers to help and
encouragement. As soon as I get the ww hull moving I'll have a much
better idea on when the LW hull workshop will be.
I seemed to have recruited a fella in the area with much boat building
experience. Well, iceboats that is... He is going for the world speed
record for iceboating.. and his ride is a frigging monster.
