Guess all depends on how your navigation is set up.
I think I have a good plan, essentially dual helms
(1) fore and (1) aft. At the dual steering locale.

(2) wheel pilots, one for each wheel.
(2) Chartplotters at helm(s)
(2) Windsensors one pointed to each bow for true wind going
either direction.
(1) depth/ temp/ speed
(1) XM
(1) Radar
(1) chartplotter at NAV station

Single switch selects which wind and autopilot is active and feeding
data to the chartplotter. Using Capi2 or EPLEX to reduce wiring
weight, the system senses the switch position and only allows nav
lights to illuminate in the proper direction.

All networked so generally only have to flip one switch after shunt,
Engage new autopilot if desired. Still some duplication, but the view
stays the same no matter which bow I face.
