-Trouble is the minimum breeze needed. I am thinking for 5knots. A kite needs at least 15 knots and if you are running dead downwind, then your apparent wind diminishes as your speed rises if you have a half decent set of hulls, leading to the kite falling in the water. You need to gybe downwind to keep the apparent wind reasonable, which is not really sitting back and enjoying a beer.
