Hi,

On BD we never experienced any spray from the ww bow as far as I can recall.
Never had any complaints on that either.
Arttu's explanation may be the reason.
BTW new photos showing BD's new rudder system coming up soon.

Regards,
Rudolf

Hi,

I did not find spary from WW-hull to be a problem.
There is buckets of water flying into cokpit occasionally when the WW
bow hits waves deeper, like when luffing in hard wind high waves. On the
reach there is no spray.
RB has different hull shape, there is no rocker and the bows are
piercing water continuosly. Ono hull has rocker as on the Blind date.
When the wind is pushing the ww hull lifts a bit higher even , so the
bow is hardly touching water.
Ono has also flare from the bow. RB has flared hull some way aft of the
bow. So Ono flare does not allow all upward spray to fly across the
hull. I guess this will explain the difference.

Regards,

Arttu
