Vinylester for the infusion, epoxy for the rest. It is important to leave the ve for a day on the table to ensure a good finish, and then another couple of days (more if it is cold) for it to cure properly before epoxying it. I use peel ply on all areas of the infusion that will be secondary bonded. peel it off and glue to it, no sanding required.
