Hi,

Yes the new rudders are mounted on the beams.
The old ones were about 0.8m further to the ends.
When we used the old rudder that was the only rudder in the water.
There is better balance with the old rudder.Also no noticeable
rudder angle.
With the new rudders we have to use both rudders to keep the boat
going in a straight line.

If I am correct on both of these it seems that the boat is better balanced with only one rudder that is further aft and to lee which sounds like logical conclusion. Also it seems that better balance gives better speed potential which also sounds logical.
