I get the impression that the tiki mentioned on Anarchy has a luff pocket soft sail - a Wharram version of a short-gaff rig. It is not a swing wing as shown in the web site mentioned before - the swing wing is a refinement of a junk rig and much more controllable than the rig mentioned on Anarchy (if I am looking at the same thread).
The swing wing does look interesting as a simpler rig for a proa.
