First my apologies ahead of time since this is not a HarryProa question but Rob has the experience to enlight me

I am starting building a small 16 ft trimaran to get my wife in the water "safely" and so we can explore the keys around us in the catapult Catamran and this tri (she refuses to ride the Catapult). I figure I can use one trailer for both and the kids can go crazy on the catamaran by themselves

So for the outriggers I will use the hulls from a 15 ft Prindle. These hulls need to be reduced to 14 ft and I would like to know if Rob or anybody in this list has any suggestions on how to do this

I think I will do the cut behind or above the front cross beam. The idea is to cut in an area where width and heightis as close to be the same as possible.

My first thought is to cut only the top and make a 1 ft sleve on one side with mold release, then skip the 1 ft and make another 1 ft sleve on the other side (mold release), mark alignment lines, cut the hull and joint the two sleves to make a connector by using internal stringers

So I guess I am trying to emulate what a 2 part windsurfer mast would look like but permanent once I am done
