I heard the rudder/centreboard need to be centred and not in the hulls to tack.

Just looking through some of the videos surfed from that link, I found: 
 
Since I'm hoping that MLM will actually plane and reduce its "square" low speed deficiencies... this one interested me.

Anyone seen this? Here are some center hung board both being down while sailing hung between two hulls on small center console.

My solid wing is 2% thickness 9.6% camber. Why go to 20% thickness for a 2.5 inches thick wing. Thin is fast.
