Do you have a point with all this discussion? I ask that because
I actually don't see a point.
You argue with people who are patiently explaining things that
they can prove to be true, either through engineering or through
actual experience, and yet you seem to be focused solely on ways to
tell them why their designs, theories, or skills are inadequate.
What makes this particularly interesting is that you haven't sailed
on the open ocean, don't have an engineering degree or any
engineering experience, and haven't sailed one of the larger proas
to gain hands-on experience.
This group benefits soundly from the insight you've gained by
sailing both models and full-sized proas of your own design. This
makes you a unique and valuable resource.
It would be great if you could stop sniping and get back to being
additive.
