I am trying to draw some plans up and I don't know how big to draw the crossbeams. I was wondering if someone could give me a simple explanation on how to calculate that, or at least how to approximate it. I have a bunch of different ideas, but they max out at a ww hull, fully loaded, of about 4000 lbs, and a beam of 22' or so.
I am guessing at about 6" high, just for drawing purposes, but it could change things if I am underestimating too much.
