yes, weta mast is stayed, non-rotating, spreaderless, all-carbon, 4 kg. being under compression then instead of bending, it probably doesn't really matter where the join is. duh, my bad.

as positioned, the top segment is exactly as long as the main hull, and so packs easily on the trailer. footprint is the size of a laser when folded.

weta is definitely a LOT of fun. i'd be happy to give you a ride. where are you located?
