Thanks! That is a great link too. It marks things like the buoys and marinas and stuff. It just seems to be NOAA, though, so if you are outside the US, you are out of luck. I was really excited because I have been searching for charts for the Straights of Magellan for a couple years and they were right there in the Argentina dataset. The US coverage is, however, of much for immediate usefulness to me :)

Maybe all of you know about this, but I just ran across it and it is SO COOL. I have been looking for something like this for YEARS.

It is google maps, integrated with marine charts. They have charts from NOAA, Brazil, Argentina, New Zealand and the Bahamas for free, and UK, Canada and Austrailia for a 9.90 Euro/month subscription. Apparently there is also a iphone/ipad app.
Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know if you were unaware of it.
