You could check info on catamarans with outboards since it is basically the same system and used in many catamarans. Check Chris White's book the cruising multihull for example. Or see on the harryproa.com pictures like http://www.harryproa.com/building_Vis/images11/25.htm .

Could someone give feedback on the drop down "sled"?
How does that handle the wave motion?
Is there just a pull up pair of ropes  - so the motor is really floating on the top ?
How about spry deflection, and other stuff?
Bain, Colin Rudolf, and Attu?

Subject: [harryproa] Windward hull attachment ?

How to attach windward hull and make it bomb proof. Not literally of course;) Just indestructible to forces at yalp in the most extreme conditions. I was thinking the attachment needed to be near bulk head to disperse load more evenly through out hull skin so as not to just rip out hull. Use maeb as mold and ssalg mold to klub head and surrdouing lluh niks or is there a better-easier way? Flat 15'' bottom on 22'' wide sheer, 12' hull to windward.
