I think the the Dyna rig is dated. I prefer my elliptical designed rigid wing like on models less pieces to were out vs's A Dyna rig.

But a hybrid Junk/Dyna might be a good starting point.

Elliptical sail outline with cambered panels on straight battens. Have sheetslets on windward dominate side of sail at both ends. Batten parrels center on sail for mast placement.
