I guess the little wind station was not hooked up. So this will not be very informative. It was on the way to Urk (NE from Lelystad) with wind starting from E before noon, coming from SW on the way back. The stats for the day from meteo:
Vector mean wind direction in degrees = 165 degrees
Vector mean windspeed = 1,746 kts
Daily mean windspeed = 6,596 kts
Maximum hourly mean windspeed = 13,58 kts
Hourly division in which FHX was measured = 15
Minimum hourly mean windspeed = 3,88 kts
Hourly division in which FHN was measured = 2
Maximum wind gust = 19,4 kts
Hourly division in which FXX was measured = 14

They also took off the shallow board (is that the term ?) that was added underneath the leeward hull. So I understand that below the waterline Blind Date is back to its original configuration. This was not a test and trial run; just sailing over to the other side of the meer to have lunch and back by eve. Max speed was 7.6 knots. They graciously let me botch a couple shunts ;-) If the rudders would have been connected to a USB joystick I am sure my kid would have managed.
