I'm sure you are curious but why do you think Todd would want to know about it?

I am curious Todd, where do you think the numbers come from?  Do you think someone just made them up or did they get derived from models (full and small scale) with tank testing under controlled conditions?

If you over turning moment "weight to windward" is greater than your heel force at higher sailing speeds and you have bow down. Really whats that telling you ..... get a bigger hull, add a lifting foil, reduce sail area, or remove weight from windward. Its that simple. Realistic hypothetical computer generated numbers are telling you what the obvious is.... Rant, laugh, joking, not to be taken to serious, punch in the arm, But you number guys will never be swayed. Ever watch Top Gear there always putting production cars through there paces. One car always looks better on paper than the other. It should do better than the other car according to the numbers but more often than not it doesn't in real life hmmmmmmm. Lots of variables fore and against each design.
