The weight lee hull needs to support static and active with minimal draft compared to loaded windward hull. Why not make leeward hull as minimal as possible for its given weight to support and active sailing forces required.

Are there full size working models out there sailing all ready?

Any thoughts?

I have some small model experiments proa squared, skeeud proa, and echelon.

Indian proa is close but still seems to have large leeward hull. The mast position seems alittle to close to windward hull for my liking

On daily motion there's an Atlantic proa sailing that looks close but not quite there I think.

Sailing on my 16' dissimilar hull form proa throw together with leeward V hull and windward rectangle flat bottom hull helped me to understand the stitic and active loading alittle better. The proa as is, lists alittle to leeward its almost level with just me in windward hull static. What I want to do is add a 24' leeward. Proa hulls 16-24, 8' difference between wh-lw hull extra 4' bows on lee hull. I ran through probably 20 or more different hull forms on ply boats program.

I came up with 24'l x 18''h x 16''w rectangle flat bottom. That gives me a 6'' height difference between the 24''height winadward hull. The goal create a stiff acting minimal leeward hull with a semi level static position on the shallowest draft.

The one thing that stands out the most while sailing on dissimilar hull form proa is the "standing in" the windward hull while sailing gives a big boat feel and comfort. Vs squatting sitting near mast and sail on my 16' foot proa. I don't want to go back to sitting on, in ,or near leeward hull.
