Very strong! Sorry -- I couldn't say how much stronger. Just:
wow -- that's a serious piece of FRP.
If you're going to layer it by hand with epoxy, you might want the
outer surfaces to be glass or a glass-carbon hybrid so that you can
be sure they are entirely wet out. If you're not infusing, the
wetting-out of carbon and kevlar can be very difficult to
determine. You'll also be able to sand/fair it a bit more easily
in that you can eat into the glass slightly and still get a nice
finish.
