Assuming you want lengthwise stiffness/strength in bending, the optimum would be 1 x 10 oz glass at +/-45, then half the carbon (uni preferred, running lengthwise), then the rest of the glass (at all angles, would be lighter to use a core), then the other half of the carbon and another 10 oz at +/-45.  The greater the distance between the carbon layers, the stiffer it will be.
