Hello Nick and all - People are strange animals. Been hangin around since 2003, been to KSS workshop in Bellingen, crawled over, in and under numerous Proas of various construction but would still prefer to build in Ply, but don't know why and it won't change, most likely! Love to see some plans. Whilst waiting and watching have given a Jarcat 5 a go which I swapped for a ride on lawnmower and presently have a Wharram Tiki 30 which will be up for sale shortly, to be replaced by a trailer sailer. Proa? - perhaps.
Trailerable job as described by Rob in 2006---

"Above was written yesterday before a walk along the beach and a doodle.
Specs are:
Fast, BN about 2
Easy to sail, no extras or headsails.
Very quick from arriving at ramp to sailing. Tieing it down/untieing
it should be the longest operation.
Seaworthy, (5m wide, 10m long),
comfortable, sheltered seats
1.8m wide on the trailer (almost as high as an F27, unfortunately)
3 bunks, although one of them will double as a galley bench
Rightable without getting wet. Bit of trickery and it could be self
righting/uncapsizable.
Built from flat panels, with compound curve (I think, will need to do
some samples)
Drawings to those who want a look when I have the details sorted/completed."

I'm hangin out
Darrell
