Our objective is to neatralise healing or even create a windward healing force.  The model does not quite achieve this yet although the second test was closer than the first.

If we can neatralise healing then at high speed the boat becomes more an airplane.  The lw hull starts with little weight and then carries less as it lifts off. The ww hull is heavier and needs to stay in contact with the water to generate apparent wind.  Long hulls with low reserve buoyancy in the ends will reduce pitching and that is better for stable flight.  Similarly wide beam reduces roll that will directly affect the sail cant.  I expect that in larger waves the sail would be canted more to give greater margin of safety.

Nice test
I notice the lwd hullmis smaller than the wwrd hull.
So this is basically an atlantic proa?

I thought the pacific setupnwouldnhave help. Any reasons why an atlantic setup was chosen
