The difference between the clean looks in the drawings and the "clutter" seen in pictures of the boat when in use keeps amazing me.

The concept of the HP's lends itself already more easily to a "clean deck". There must be a way to design for the tendency of cruisers to pack/install more than generally "drawn" for.

There are structural aspects:
like stayed/unstayed masts: solved with HP's
Like the tender: I see little reason not to design that in. The tender/sled design is one way to incorporate that. There is this french cat with a belly loaded tender....
Like the deck railings: HP's need only about half that of cats. But still.
Like the ropes/leads ...: HP's need fewer. But still.
Like the lights, wind gen, solar cells, antennas, domes, ...

The list of non-structural objects is endless but common enough to design for: surfboards, kayaks, fishing poles, wet clothes, beach trolley, ...

Maybe wisdom engineering is required here ;-)
