A two segment hard wing showed spectacular results in the recent AC but those races would not seem particularly well suited for a shunter. OTOH, this type of wing would not seem the first choice yet for deep blue water racing where shunting would not be a handicap.
For what of the famous races would the Norwegian racer HP be particularly suitable?

All of them, if it works. The telescoping will alleviate the need for downwind extras in light air so the boat should be pretty efficient on all points of sail. Upwind in a blow (OSTAR, TWOSTAR) it would be particularly efficient compared to a conventional boat which carries the windage of the unused mast when reefed. If it works.
