No problem flying an assymetric, but the mast would need a little more beefing up as the design load becomes capsize from a masthead load rather than a load evenly distributed along the mast.  Also no reason why it could not be moved across from one mast to the other, although the drag and complexity of the lines and blocks might outweigh the benefits compared to dropping it from one and rehoisting on the other.    

A screecher with it's requirement for a tight luff is not such a good idea.

   With a biplane unstayed rig would it be possible to fly an asymmetric spinnaker from the tops of the masts for going downwind, or do you think that would be too much point loading?  I particular I envision a rope running from top to top, maybe with a car between to act as kind of a traveler, with the spinnaker halyard on that car.
