Apparently with the most recent "upgrade" of Yahoo groups you can now attach files (NOT including executables!) to email and web messages.  Prior to this you were not able to see photos in messages if you viewed the message on the website. Thanks to the yahoo proa-file for this information.

I've attached an image to see if it will appear both in emails and on messages viewed on the Yahoo website.
