I like the functionality of the Wontoo, but I hate how it looks.  I would take the folding geometry of Wontoo, but use beams similar to Cat-2-Fold instead. If done properly, one could swap out the heavier cat-2-fold type beams for straight tubes when you want to get serious about racing, but if you want to keep the boat in the marina, install the folding beams.  To me, versatility is the best solution. Well, versatility and good looks... wontoo reminds me too much of the first generation multis like Pen Duck and the searunner 25.
Perhaps that is a shallow observation, but the cat-2-fold beams certainly have an advantage from a parasitic drag reduction perspective, and for a boat that defies convention in so may classical ways for the sake of efficiency a lattice beam structure is both an aesthetic and functional design regression IMO
