Good question.  Depends on what "space" you are talking about.  
A 15m/50' harry will have 2 queen size doubles and 2 singles, the same as the GB 55.  
An 18m/60' will have 2 bathrooms.  
Easily accessible, usable deck space will be similar.  The GB is probably  a bit bigger, but it is mostly open, empty space, which is not nice to be in in big waves.   
Control space (cockpit, wheel, winches, etc) is bigger in the GB, but it is a vastly more complex boat so it needs to be.  The question in this case is not so much the space, but whether it is better to access it through a door opening into the wind (GB) or one opening downwind (HP).

To be fair what would be the specs of a HP with the space of a GB 55 but then also built in carbon?

Would a 70' lw and 40' ww hull be sufficient? 2*55 = 70+40
The deck plane of the GB is 2/3 full; the deck plane of a HP max 1/2
