Thank you, Mike. The lists for the HP are impressive. I was not clear in my intent though. It was more a thought experiment whereby the GB mast is changed to an unstayed mast in a "pacific" proa configuration, changing as little as possible from the other design and build choices for the GB unless absolutely necessary. Thus, no wave piercing bows; no double rudder/boards; no tramp between the beams... Such a boat would not be a HP but still have the advantages related to the type and placing of the mast. It also illustrates at the same time how much more a HP is.
