Of course, all depends on your SOR's but I am not sure a proa is a no go for narrow waterways. Rob will correct me but I assume that below a particular wind speed a proa could tack. I remember a report that the Melbourne proa steered better in low winds with the ww hull to lee. In a busy waterway reversing direction in a flash to prevent a collision is an advantage. Then there is also the racy shunt procedure that Rob mentioned.

How would a HarryCat be fundamentally different from a Radical Bay 800 ?
