  That's interesting.  Both my iPhone and iPad are happy, and the site even has mobile-specific navigation for the small screen on the phone.

  The phone is iOS 8.2, while the iPad is iOS 8.1.2.  It takes a little time to get the page loaded, but after that it seems to work fine.

It does not work on the iPhone either. A large empty surface fills the screen. While making it smaller it does show parts of the texts underneath but as soon as the "grip" is lost the surface fills the screen again.
