Again, that is 100% correct and when I see aerodynamic shaped superstructures with basically an unfaired vertical wall aft (the corners) I just shake my head in trying to imagine what on earth was the NA thinking? (a wedge is just about the same as a flat plate).
The bigger HP's have exactly the same windage problem, he just rotated the superstructure 90 degrees, hint hint.
It is possible to have a livable superstructure though that is reasonably aerodynamic, the Airstream Trailer is a good example. Smooth, with no sharp corners anywhere. I know it would look odd, but it would beat the heck out of 90% of the boats out there.
