Arto, - "Autoprop has same minimal drag both ways. If the drive leg is streamlined both ways that would be easy solution for a diesel. Protecting the drive leg in case of grounding should be thought of. Diesel with retractable drive leg would be my favorite if I had the money for the Cruiser 60."


The Autoprop at $4K a pop looks very interesting. I agree with the retractable drive leg too, but the complexity bothers me and I have designed and built some complex stuff.

If the Autoprop works though (feathers both ways) it is definitely worth looking at.
