Yeah, I am convinced the jetski idea probably isn't the best, a 5 inch prop just doesn't cut it compared to a 17" prop for efficiency. Size matters.
Also I have cursed my rotax engines many times, mostly when I am stuck in the snow or landing my trike in some field because it got too hot.
The feathering prop is looking better and better.
Here's another wacky idea, how about hanging an electric motor and prop on the rudders and rotating the rudders when shunting? Or just letting it feather?
