Yeah I thought about pop-tops too, it could work out

I am mindful of windage, on such a short WW hull and in-keeping with decent deck clearance it starts to look a bit condo like pretty quickly. The catamaran experience with the same things highlights that difference in handling boats due to varied interactions of wind and water. That, and often they look like dogs.

I guess I either need to get more clever of consider a larger design which offers more scope.
