I would prefer to run it down as close as possible to the deck.  Same Idea.

Yes all good.

Right now I am going through NACA files and looking at lift compared to the angle of attack for different air foils to compensate for the twist.  I know that they transition a little on sailplanes but they use ailerons and asymmetrical foil sections which makes it easier for them.
 

For the top of the wing I want less lift and a wider AOA range before stalling.

So we are thinking along the same track.
