I keep looking at the Cruiser 60, and it is beautiful, but out of my range. However it seems like it might be possible to cut it down to have something more doable/affordable. I was wondering if anything like that is in the works?

Suggestions:
o Double bunks, instead of queens, with no cabin sole (i.e. ww hull only 7' beam)
o Just one ww head, accessible from only one cabin (sorry, guests)
o Add a second row of galley cabinets, so galley has 10' of counter space
o move saloon outside to the center section, covered by bimini
o one single and one head in lw hull between the masts
o make the center section 7' wide, so the whole thing (lw and ww hulls, center section, beams and rig) can be packed up in a 40' shipping container (total beam about 18')

It seems like I have drawn 100 designs, and they are all ugly. It would be awesome if someone (Rob, Steiner?) could at least sketch up something like this to see if it is practical.

Related, I am unclear how the steering is rigged on the Cruiser 60. Rob seems to have gone away from the beam mounted rudders, and I am not sure how the lines are run.

Also, the main sheet can't hold the boom when running downwind. I assume there is a snapshackle run to the ww bow for that?
