Ski's have a concave edge and that causes the ski to turn when put on an edge.


It seems to me that the if the leeward hull was designed with concave sides and designed to rotate axially 20˚ to 30˚ degrees it could turn the boat, and eliminate the need for the rudders and their drag.... and complexity


Putting the two masts attached to the beams could be the rotation point.


I am sure there is a very good reason for not doing this but I am missing it.
