I certainly see how wave piercing is giving an enviably smooth ride. Pretty hard to find fault with that. What you describe as rocker at the ends is what I was envisioning too. John Hitch's Hitchiker 33 reflects that view as well.
All this experimenting provides good reasons to have foam plug bows I guess
