If I didn't know it was a Proa, I would say it is a biplane. The sails, rudders/daggerboards, twin engines, steering station, seem to be set up for one direction.


The rudders seem to have an airfoil shape.  If they are held securely (a big if) and will work equally well in both directions.  I suspect that the rudders are wedged into their respective cassettes.
