the problem with them on the inside is that the heat is already transmitted to the interior via the heated glass, its only the direct light you reduce. It works on the outside, but might look something like an armoured unit of the Panzer Corps, or a vehicle that fell out of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, not that Im all that worried about that.

Having more upright glass does add windage and structural weight, but the window weight is smaller and lighter. But I agree in terms of balance its going to be on the losing side. The comfort in hot climates though?

I notice Leopard has gone to an extended peak over the front glass from the 58 down to the 39 (from a brief internet research). But perhaps theyre playing with front cockpits as the glass looks near vertical too. So therein lay another possibility, glass set into box frames inside the cabin.

So far the outside louvres have it...
